Huntress Pricing (2026): EDR, ITDR, SIEM and SAT Costs
Huntress lists Managed EDR at $8.99 per endpoint per month, Managed ITDR at $4.80 per licensed identity, Managed SIEM at $4 per data source, Managed SAT at $2.08 per learner and Managed ISPM at $4 per licensed identity (MSRP on a 12-month term, per Huntress's pricing page, checked October 24, 2026).
Buying direct or through a reseller requires at least 50 seats per product, so the smallest direct Managed EDR contract is $5,394 a year at MSRP. Through an MSP there is no Huntress minimum, and the MSP sets your price.
| Product | MSRP per month | Priced per | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Managed EDR | $8.99 | endpoint | Endpoint agent plus 24/7 SOC |
| Managed ITDR | $4.80 | licensed identity | Identity threat detection and response |
| Managed SIEM | $4 | data source | Log collection and monitoring |
| Managed SAT | $2.08 | learner | Security awareness training |
| Managed ISPM | $4 | licensed identity | Identity security posture management |
All five are MSRP on a 12-month term, per huntress.com/pricing (checked October 24, 2026). The 50-seat direct and reseller minimum applies to each product.
Huntress says the per-unit rate goes down as volume goes up, but it doesn’t publish the breakpoints. The list prices include its 24/7 SOC; they don’t include deployment, integration or day-to-day portal management, which a Huntress partner can provide.
What does Huntress cost for 25, 50 and 100 endpoints?
At MSRP, Managed EDR for 50 endpoints costs $449.50 a month, or $5,394 a year. The table multiplies Huntress’s list prices by the seat count and assumes one identity and one learner per employee; it is our arithmetic, before volume discounts and tax.
| Seats | Managed EDR per month | Managed EDR per year | EDR + ITDR + SAT per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 25 (MSP only) | $224.75 | $2,697 | $396.75 |
| 50 | $449.50 | $5,394 | $793.50 |
| 100 | $899 | $10,788 | $1,587 |
A 25-seat company can’t buy direct, because of the 50-seat minimum. Through an MSP, the MSP’s own price replaces these figures and usually includes its management time.
Huntress pricing by channel: direct, MSP or reseller
The channel decides your minimum and how you’re billed: no minimum through an MSP, 50 seats per product direct or through a reseller. All three use a 12-month term, per Huntress’s pricing FAQ.
| Through an MSP | Through a reseller | Direct from Huntress | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Huntress minimum | None | 50 seats per product | 50 seats per product |
| Billing | MSP is billed monthly in arrears on deployed usage | Annual only | Monthly on deployed usage, or yearly for the committed minimum plus monthly overages |
| Who deploys and runs it | The MSP | You | You |
| Overages | Handled manually | Handled manually | Handled manually |
Huntress doesn’t offer multi-year price protection as standard; its FAQ says to raise it with your account team. An MSP that raises its committed minimum mid-term to reach a lower rate restarts its 12-month term.
What’s included in Huntress Managed EDR?
Managed EDR includes the endpoint agent plus Huntress’s 24/7 SOC, which reviews alerts and remediates threats on your machines. Huntress lists these features:
- A 24/7 SOC where a human reviews every alert before it reaches you
- Active remediation to remove attackers’ footholds, with plain-English guidance
- Ransomware canaries that watch for early signs of ransomware
- Native agents for Windows, macOS and Linux
When you buy direct, Huntress’s FAQ says you still handle deployment, portal management and responding to the SOC’s incident reports.
Is Huntress Managed EDR the same as MDR?
Huntress says Managed EDR goes further than MDR: it includes running the EDR tool itself, not just watching alerts from tools you manage. In Huntress’s FAQ, MDR monitors alerts from a customer’s self-managed tools, while Managed EDR covers the technology, its management and the detection and response. In practice, both put a 24/7 team on your alerts (MDR compared with plain EDR); compare what each provider will actually do on your machines, such as isolating a device or removing persistence.
Huntress vs CrowdStrike, ThreatDown, ESET and Sophos on price
Of the managed endpoint services with a published price, ThreatDown Elite MDR is cheapest per device, with Huntress third. Figures are per endpoint per year; Huntress is its monthly MSRP × 12 and the bundle prices are divided by their device count (our arithmetic).
| Service | Per endpoint per year | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| ThreatDown Elite MDR | $99 | Published; $495 for 5 devices |
| ESET PROTECT Premium (with MDR) | $103 | Published; $1,030 for 10 devices |
| Huntress Managed EDR | $107.88 | Published MSRP, monthly × 12 |
| CrowdStrike Falcon Enterprise (EDR, not managed) | $184.99 | Published |
| CrowdStrike Falcon Complete (managed) | Quote only | Contact sales |
| Sophos MDR (Central MDR EP Complete) | $239.69 a year, unit not stated | List price on AWS Marketplace, private offers |
CrowdStrike’s managed service has no list price, and its EDR plan alone costs more per device than Huntress with the SOC included. See CrowdStrike’s Falcon prices for every plan, other CrowdStrike alternatives, or how other managed security providers price their services.
Huntress free trial and discounts
Huntress offers a free trial with no credit card: 14 days of Managed EDR, ITDR, ISPM and SIEM, and 21 days of Managed SAT. Huntress says the trial is the same full version as the paid products, including the 24/7 SOC, and converting doesn’t require reinstalling the agent. The only published discount is the volume one: the per-unit rate falls as seat counts rise, with breakpoints given in a quote.
Is Huntress worth the price?
Huntress is worth it if you have no one to watch security alerts around the clock; it is overkill if you do. At $107.88 per endpoint per year, Huntress costs less than CrowdStrike Falcon Enterprise without a SOC, though ThreatDown Elite MDR and ESET PROTECT Premium list lower for managed coverage. Skip Huntress if you have fewer than 50 seats and no MSP, or if your team already runs an EDR console every day. For a 10-person office that only needs antivirus, our small-business antivirus ranking is a better place to start.
Frequently asked questions
How much is Huntress MDR?
Huntress sells its managed endpoint service as Managed EDR, listed at $8.99 per endpoint per month (MSRP) with a 24/7 SOC included. Bought direct, the 50-seat minimum makes the smallest contract $5,394 a year at list price.
What does Huntress software do?
Huntress sells managed security for small and mid-sized businesses: an endpoint agent for Windows, macOS and Linux watched by its own 24/7 SOC, plus managed identity threat detection (ITDR), SIEM, security awareness training (SAT) and identity posture management (ISPM).
Is Huntress considered a SIEM?
Huntress sells Managed SIEM as a separate product at $4 per data source per month (MSRP). Its core product, Managed EDR, is endpoint detection and response, not a SIEM.
Can a small business buy Huntress directly?
Yes, but direct and reseller purchases need at least 50 seats per product. Smaller businesses usually buy through an MSP, where Huntress sets no minimum and the MSP sets the price.
Does Huntress have a free trial?
Yes. Huntress's trial covers Managed EDR, ITDR, ISPM and SIEM for 14 days and Managed SAT for 21 days, with no credit card, and Huntress says the trial is the same full version as the paid products.
