Affiliate disclosure

Hardened Review may earn a commission or referral fee when you buy or sign up through some links on our site; commissions never change a ranking, a verdict or what we say about a product.

How we earn money

Some vendors run affiliate or referral programs. When you click one of our links to such a vendor and then buy or sign up, the vendor may pay us a commission or a fee. For business services, some programs pay a fee for a qualified introduction instead of a sale.

What commissions don’t change

  • Rankings sort by one printed criterion, and a product’s position never depends on whether its vendor pays us.
  • We include and link to products that pay us nothing.
  • Partners can’t review, edit or approve our pages before they’re published.

How partner links work

Partner links go through a short redirect on our own domain (/go/…) so we can update a vendor’s link in one place. They are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code. Links to vendors we have no program with go straight to the vendor’s own site.

Where we disclose it

Every review, comparison and ranking carries a disclosure at the bottom, and every page carries a one-line version in the footer.
